Adding a pop-up to a website is probably the oldest trick in the book, and it still works like a charm. Believe it or not, it is proven that an exit-intent pop-up can save almost 40% of visitors that plan to leave a website. It’s like the last minute lead generation trick that won’t let you down.

The good news is that this pop-up can be installed on any page. We would advise you to add it to the checkout page, so just when users decide to close the tab on you, you can surprise them with a pop-up message that offers a discount on the products they have already added to their shopping carts. If you use this trick, site visitors will think twice before leaving the site.

Note: If you want to create an exit-intent pop-up but don’t know where to start, be sure to check out the MailOptin plugin.
