If you wish to back up your theme’s content to a computer or Google drive or to switch your WordPress theme to a new domain, you should export the content of your website. Luckily for all WP users, the steps are pretty quick and easy.

Exporting a theme content is done through the WordPress dashboard, which is a process completed in minutes. This is exactly what you need, especially if you are new to WordPress and coding.

Here’s how to export a WordPress theme content:

  1. Log in to the WordPress Admin panel (WordPress Dashboard).
  2. Navigate to Tools.
  3. Choose the Export tab and select which theme files you want to export.
  4. Check the All content option to export all theme-related files.
  5. Click the Download Export file button.
