That’s a great question. Here’s a (if you’re wondering if I’m going to give you a list, you bet your gorgeous face I am) list of stuff you can do:

1. Analyze how we do what we do

You can use the PSD files to analyze how we design a theme. Try to dig deep into the layers and get a rough understanding of what each of our designs is made of.

2. Improve your skill

Yup. Try to recreate some of our designs without opening them up. Then, once you have a rough copy of our design, open the PSDs you downloaded and check out how close you are.

3. Remix it

Use our PSDs as a template. They’re yours to do whatever you want with, so you can use them as a starting point for a theme you would like to design (and maybe even develop?!) yourself.

4. Optional: Front-end challenge

Try to recreate our PSD files in pure HTML, CSS code (with a sprinkle of Javascript, of course). If it helps, all our themes are based on the excellent template theme called _S (underscores) that’s made by the WordPress folks themselves.

5. ___???

And there you have it. 4 ways you could use the PSD files you get with each purchased theme. If you’ve got any other inventive ways you use our PSD, let us know! We’ll feature suggestions in an updated version of this post.
