Organizing conferences and events can be a very stressful job, and you need all the help you can get. We will do our best to help you create the best event website with excellent user experience. Elements on event website one must not forget are the key elements for any event itself.

1. Basic info: name of the event, date, location

This must be the very first thing your visitors will see, because, well, those are basic information. If you are choosing the name for the conference, make sure it can easily be remembered

2. Speakers

People will seek for well-known names – be sure to help them. Pull keynote speakers above others, or distinct them on some other way. Include picture, short and long biography, and give your visitors chance to contact speakers (but ask speakers for social media profiles they are willing to share publicly).

3. Agenda

As soon as possible, put agenda on site. Maybe some of the participants cannot take all working day off, or your event is overlapping with important meeting. Give them a chance to plan their day in advance.

4. Gallery

Post photos from previous events, press conferences, and photos of your team hard working. A picture is worth a thousand words, remember?

5. Contact Page

Address, phone, email and contact form are required elements. Embedded map can be helpful, but make sure it is accessible via mobile.

6. Social Network Icons

Any website nowadays must be β€œshareable”. People will hopefully share your page – you want them to promote your event on social networks. Make sharing as easy as possible.

  1. I found these days an infografic showing a content matrix.
Using this information it’s much easier to decide what kind of elements are needed and which not.

According this graphic you need only 4 types of content to serve information for the 4 different types of customers πŸ™‚

  2. Sorry, probably not too relevant comments with your posts, but I just wanted to ask.
if you provide the themes for the school website?
